Lovell Birge Harrison (1854-1929) was an American Impressionist painter and printmaker. He was known for his atmospheric landscapes and seascapes, as well as his depictions of rural life. His distinctive style blended the influence of the Barbizon school with his own unique vision. He is best remembered for his vibrant use of colour and light, which he used to capture the beauty of nature. His works can be found in many public and private collections.
