Albert Joseph Moore (1841-1893) was an English painter known for his depictions of classical and allegorical subjects. He was a leader of the Aesthetic Movement and was influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. His works are characterised by a delicate use of colour, a meticulous rendering of form, and a dreamy, poetic quality. He was an influential figure in the development of British art, and his works are now highly sought-after fine art prints.
