Stanhope Forbes
1857 - 1947
Born in Dublin but educated at Dulwich College in London he and his wife founded the Newlyn School of Art in Cornwall. The Newlyn School painted en plein air showing local life in the fishing village. He is buried in Sancreed Church near Newlyn.
