Alfred Sisley
1839 - 1899
Alfred Sisley (1839-1899) was a French Impressionist painter known for his landscapes. He was born near Paris, and studied art in London and Paris. He was particularly drawn to the natural beauty of the French countryside, and his works often depict scenes of the Seine River and the surrounding countryside. His unique brushwork and subtle use of colour are hallmarks of his style, and his works are highly sought after by collectors of fine art prints.
We have 126 artworks in our catalogue by Sisley available for order. Browse our full collection of Sisley prints, or browse other French or Impressionism artists.

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
