Giotto di Bondone
1266 - 1337
Giotto di Bondone (1267–1337) was an Italian painter and architect from Florence, widely considered to be the father of the Renaissance. His work was revolutionary for its time, combining traditional Byzantine elements with a more naturalistic style. He was the first to use foreshortening in painting, and his works have had an immense influence on the development of Western art. Giotto's frescoes and panel paintings are some of the most iconic works of the Italian Renaissance, and his influence can still be seen in the works of modern painters.
We have 41 artworks in our catalogue by Giotto available for order. Browse our full collection of Giotto prints, or browse other Italian or Gothic artists.
Of our Prints and Others...

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
