Anders Leonard Zorn (1860-1920) was a Swedish painter, sculptor and printmaker who is best known for his portraits of prominent figures. He was a master of etching and aquatinting, and his works are characterised by their vivid colours and lively brushwork. Zorn was also a gifted portrait painter and his works are held in many prestigious collections around the world. He is remembered as one of the greatest Swedish artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
