George Frederic Watts
1817 - 1904
George Frederic Watts (1817-1904) was a British painter and sculptor whose works focused on themes of death, love, and immortality. He was a major influence on the Pre-Raphaelite movement and was one of the most renowned British artists of the Victorian era. His works, including paintings, sculptures, and prints, are known for their intense emotion and symbolism. His style was unique and he was often referred to as the "English Michelangelo".
We have 47 artworks in our catalogue by Watts available for order. Browse our full collection of Watts prints, or browse other English or Symbolism artists.
Of our Prints and Others...

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...

  • Allposters Standard 'Smooth' Giclée = 235 gsm
  • Art.com Standard 'Smooth' Giclée = 235 gsm
  • King & McGaw 'Smooth' = 230 gsm
  • Magnolia Box don't offer a 'Smooth' Giclée

  • Allposters Premium 'Textured' Giclée = 305 gsm
