Thomas Rowlandson (1756-1827) was an English caricaturist and illustrator, best known for his satirical aquatints and drawings. His works often poked fun at the upper classes, and he was one of the most popular caricaturists of the Georgian era. His work was heavily influenced by the works of William Hogarth, and he was a major contributor to the 18th century British satirical print. His prints and drawings are still highly sought after and his work can be found in many art galleries and collections around the world.
