Giovanni Paolo Panini
1691 - 1765
Giovanni Paolo Panini (1691-1765) was an Italian artist and architect from Rome, best known for his grandiose and detailed vedute, or views of the city. His works are characterised by their sweeping perspectives, lively details, and a masterful manipulation of light and atmosphere. Panini's works are considered some of the finest examples of the genre, and have been widely reproduced in fine art prints and posters.
We have 27 artworks in our catalogue by Panini available for order. Browse our full collection of Panini prints, or browse other Italian or Rococo artists.
