George Morland (1763-1804) was an English painter and etcher of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is best known for his paintings of rural life, featuring scenes of rustic figures, animals, and landscapes. His works often depicted everyday life in a way that was both sentimental and humorous. His prints remain popular today, and can be found in many collections.
