Henry Moret

French Artist, 1856 - 1913
Henry Moret (1856–1913) was a French Impressionist painter who was heavily influenced by the Pointillism movement. He is best known for his vibrant landscapes and seascapes of Brittany, a region in northwest France. His works are characterised by bold colours and loose brushstrokes which create a vivid and dynamic atmosphere. He was a member of the Pont-Aven school of painters, and his works can be found in many prominent museums and galleries around the world.
