Quentin Metsys (1466–1530) was a Flemish painter best known for his oil paintings, which often featured religious and allegorical themes. His works were highly influential during the Renaissance period, and he was one of the first to introduce a more naturalistic approach to painting. He was also known for his skill in the use of colour and light, and his works often featured vivid hues and warm tones. His works have been widely reproduced in both canvas and fine art prints, and they remain popular to this day.
