Edwin Landseer
1802 - 1873
Edwin Landseer (1802-1873) was an English painter and sculptor, best known for his paintings of animals and his large-scale public works. He was a great admirer of the works of John Constable and J.M.W. Turner, and his own work was heavily influenced by them. He was also a great admirer of the works of the Old Masters, and his own paintings often featured grandiose and dramatic scenes. He was a Royal Academician, and his works can be seen in many galleries and museums around the world.
We have 72 artworks in our catalogue by Landseer available for order. Browse our full collection of Landseer prints, or browse other English or Romantic artists.
Of our Prints and Others...

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...

  • Allposters Standard 'Smooth' Giclée = 235 gsm
  • Art.com Standard 'Smooth' Giclée = 235 gsm
