William Hogarth
1697 - 1764
William Hogarth (1697–1764) was an English painter, printmaker, and satirist whose works are considered to be among the most influential in the history of British art. Hogarth's works range from satirical prints to moralising narrative paintings, and his art often sought to challenge the accepted norms of his society. His prints, such as A Rake's Progress and Marriage à la Mode, are considered to be some of the most iconic images in British art. His works remain popular to this day and are available as fine art prints.

Of our Prints and Others...
The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
