William Stanley Haseltine was an American landscape painter and etcher of the late 19th century. He was known for his atmospheric coastal views and marine scenes, and was a member of the Hudson River School of painters. Haseltine also produced etchings and lithographs of his paintings, and was among the first American artists to use photography as an aid to his work. His works are held in many prestigious public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
