Francisco de Goya was a Spanish painter and printmaker who was an important figure in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His works are known for their dramatic and sometimes macabre imagery, and he is considered one of the most important Spanish painters of all time. His prints and paintings are highly sought after and have influenced many modern artists.
