Roger Fry (1866-1934) was a British art critic and painter. He was a major proponent of the avant-garde movement in Britain and was instrumental in introducing post-impressionism to the British public. He was an influential member of the Bloomsbury Group, and was the founder of the Omega Workshops, a collective of artists and designers. Fry's work as a painter was largely abstract, and his prints are highly sought after by collectors.
