Cesare Auguste Detti (1847-1914) was an Italian painter known for his Realist style of painting. He was born in Florence and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, as well as the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His works often depicted everyday life in Italy, with a focus on rural scenes and the working class. He was also known for his sensitive and detailed portraits of children. His works are held in many public and private collections around the world.
