Honore Daumier
1808 - 1879
Honore Daumier (1808-1879) was a French artist best known for his satirical caricatures of the political and social life of 19th century France. He was a prolific artist who created thousands of lithographs, drawings, and paintings that remain highly influential to this day. Daumier's works often featured exaggerated facial features and bodies to emphasize the absurdity of his subjects. He is considered one of the most important French artists of the 19th century.
We have 60 artworks in our catalogue by Daumier available for order. Browse our full collection of Daumier prints, or browse other French or Realism artists.

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
