Jozef Chelmonski (1849-1914) was a Polish landscape and genre painter of the late 19th century. He was a student of the famous Polish artist Jan Matejko, and is known for his naturalistic and realistic depictions of rural life in the Polish countryside. His works often feature vivid colours and detailed depictions of nature, and are highly sought after by collectors of Polish art.
