Georges Lemmen (1865-1916) was a Belgian Symbolist painter and printmaker. His work is characterised by its dreamlike quality, with a focus on the human figure, often in a contemplative or pensive state. He was a master of the etching process, producing some of the finest examples of Belgian Symbolist printmaking. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world and his prints are highly sought after by collectors.
