Johannes Cornelisz Verspronck (1600-1662) was a Dutch Golden Age painter, best known for his portraits. His style was influenced by the works of his mentor, Frans Hals, and he was also a member of the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke. Verspronck was known for his ability to capture the essence of his subjects, creating lifelike portraits that were imbued with a sense of dignity and grace. His works remain highly sought-after today, and have been widely reproduced as fine art prints.
