Jan van Goyen (1596-1656) was a Dutch Golden Age painter and printmaker known for his landscapes and seascapes. He was one of the most important Dutch landscape painters of the 17th century, and his works have been widely reproduced as fine art prints. Van Goyen’s landscapes are characterised by their subtlety of colour, light, and atmosphere, as well as their realism and attention to detail. His works are highly sought after by collectors and remain popular to this day.
