Willem Van de Velde
1633 - 1707
Willem Van de Velde was a Dutch Golden Age painter and draftsman who specialised in seascapes and landscapes. He was the son of Willem Van de Velde the Elder and the father of Willem Van de Velde the Younger, both of whom were also marine painters. His works are now highly sought after and can be found in many major museums and galleries. His paintings and prints are a perfect addition to any home or office, and his mastery of light and colour are truly remarkable.
