Jusepe de Ribera
1591 - 1652
Jusepe de Ribera was a Spanish painter of the Baroque period. He was born in 1591 in Játiva, near Valencia, and is known for his powerful and emotionally charged paintings and prints. His works are characterised by a strong realism, and his use of light and shade to create dramatic effects. His works remain popular today, and can be found in many fine art prints collections.

Of our Prints and Others...
The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
