Erskine Nicol (1825-1904) was a Scottish painter and etcher, best known for his landscapes, seascapes and genre scenes. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Academy and his work is represented in many public collections. His prints, which are highly sought after, capture the beauty of the Scottish landscape, its people and its culture.
