Giovanni Battista Moroni
1520 - 1578
Giovanni Battista Moroni (1520–1579) was an Italian painter of the late Renaissance period. He is best known for his portraits, which are characterised by their realism and psychological insight. His works are noted for their attention to detail, and his use of light and shadow to create a sense of depth. He was a master of the Mannerist style, and his paintings are highly sought after by collectors.
We have 20 artworks in our catalogue by Moroni available for order. Browse our full collection of Moroni prints, or browse other Italian or Renaissance artists.
