Joseph Nash (1809–78) was a British watercolour painter and lithographer, best known for his romanticised views of English country houses and their grounds. He was a gifted draughtsman and a prolific artist, producing hundreds of works, many of which are now highly sought after as fine art prints. Nash's works are characterised by their delicate detailing and subtle use of light and shade, which together create a dream-like atmosphere. His works are a celebration of the beauty of the English countryside and its many grand estates.
