Frans Hals
1582 - 1666
Frans Hals was a Dutch Golden Age portrait painter who was known for his bold brushstrokes and vivid colours. He was one of the most prominent portrait painters in the Netherlands during the 17th century and is often referred to as the "Master of the Dutch Portrait". His paintings are highly sought after for their realism and emotion, and his works have been reproduced as fine art prints for many years.

Of our Prints and Others...
The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
