Jacopo Bassano
1510 - 1592
Jacopo Bassano (1510-1592) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He was born in Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto region of northern Italy. He is best known for his religious and pastoral paintings, often featuring vivid landscapes. He was influenced by the Venetian school of painting, and his works are characterised by a bright, clear palette and a strong use of light. Bassano's works have been admired for centuries, and his influence can be seen in many of the great masters of the Baroque period.

Of our Prints and Others...
The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
