Paolo Caliari Veronese (1528-1588) was an Italian Renaissance painter from Venice. He is known for his grand and vibrant paintings, which often feature religious and mythological themes. His works are characterised by their bright colours, dynamic composition, and intricate details. He was a master of illusion and perspective, and his works have influenced many other painters throughout the centuries.
