Lesser Ury (1861-1931) was a German Impressionist painter and printmaker. He is best known for his depictions of Berlin cityscapes and landscapes, which were often rendered in a bold, vibrant style. Ury was a master of colour and light, often using a unique palette of bright colours to bring his scenes to life. He was an important figure in the Berlin Secession movement, and his work continues to be highly sought after by collectors.
