Thomas Hosmer Shepherd
1792 - 1864
Thomas Hosmer Shepherd (1793-1864) was a British artist and topographical draughtsman who specialised in architectural views. He was best known for his detailed engravings and aquatints of the cities and countryside of Britain, which he produced between 1820 and 1860. Shepherd's work was highly sought after in his day and today his prints remain popular among art collectors for their accuracy and attention to detail.

Of our Prints and Others...
The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
