Jusepe de Ribera
1591 - 1652
Jusepe de Ribera was a Spanish painter of the Baroque period. He was born in 1591 in Játiva, near Valencia, and is known for his powerful and emotionally charged paintings and prints. His works are characterised by a strong realism, and his use of light and shade to create dramatic effects. His works remain popular today, and can be found in many fine art prints collections.
We have 36 artworks in our catalogue by Ribera available for order. Browse our full collection of Ribera prints, or browse other Spanish artists.
