Raphael
1483 - 1520
Raphael was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. He is best known for his Madonnas and for his large figure compositions in the Vatican. His work is admired for its clarity of form, ease of composition, and visual achievement of the Neoplatonic ideal of human grandeur. He was one of the great masters of the High Renaissance, who influenced the course of Western art and helped to lay the foundations for the Baroque.
We have 69 artworks in our catalogue by Raphael available for order. Browse our full collection of Raphael prints, or browse other Italian or Renaissance artists.
