1890 - 1941
El Lissitzky was a Russian artist, designer, and photographer who was an important figure in the avant-garde movement of the early 20th century. He is best known for his pioneering work in the fields of suprematism, constructivism, and typography, as well as his design of the iconic "Proun" series. His work has influenced generations of artists and designers and continues to be celebrated today.
