John William Inchbold
1830 - 1888
John William Inchbold (1830-1888) was a British watercolor landscape painter. He was a member of the Royal Academy and renowned for his romantic and poetic interpretations of the English countryside. His works are characterised by a delicate and subtle use of colour and light, and often feature the soft rolling hills of the English countryside. His work has been widely exhibited and is highly sought after by collectors of fine art prints.
