Walter Greaves (1846-1930) was a British Impressionist painter and etcher. He was a student of Whistler and was part of the St. John's Wood Clique, a group of young painters. Greaves was known for his atmospheric views of London and his etchings of the Thames. He was also an influential teacher, having taught many of the leading British Impressionists of the time. His work is still highly sought after today, and his prints are available in many galleries and online.
