Spencer Frederick Gore (1878-1914) was an English Post-Impressionist painter and one of the founders of the Camden Town Group. His works are characterised by their vivid colours and bold brushstrokes. He was a major influence on British modernism and his works are highly sought after by art collectors. Gore's paintings are often described as having a 'lyrical quality' and his use of colour and texture is seen as highly influential in British art.
