Eugene Henri Cauchois (1850–1916) was a French Impressionist painter and printmaker. He was born in Rouen, France and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Cauchois is best known for his vibrant and lyrical landscapes, often featuring vibrant colours and bold brushstrokes. His work captures the beauty of nature, as well as the changing light and atmosphere of the French countryside. He was a master printmaker, producing etchings and lithographs of his works. His prints are highly sought-after and collectible, and continue to inspire viewers today.
