Felix Vallotton
1865 - 1925
Felix Vallotton (1865-1925) was a Swiss-born French painter, printmaker, illustrator, and writer. He is known for his bold and expressive use of colour and line, as well as his skill in depicting the human form. His works are often characterised by a strong sense of composition and a sophisticated use of colour and light. He is also remembered for his illustrations of the novels of Gustave Flaubert and Guy de Maupassant, as well as his woodcuts, which were influential in the development of the printmaking medium.
We have 96 artworks in our catalogue by Vallotton available for order. Browse our full collection of Vallotton prints, or browse other Swiss artists.
