Frits Thaulow
1847 - 1906
Frits Thaulow (1847-1906) was a Norwegian Impressionist painter. He was known for his lively brushwork and use of light and colour, which he applied to his landscapes, cityscapes, and marine scenes. His work was greatly influenced by his travels in France, Germany, Italy, and Scandinavia. He was a member of the Berlin Secession and continued to paint until his death in 1906. His works are now highly sought after and can be found in many major museums and galleries.
We have 19 artworks in our catalogue by Thaulow available for order. Browse our full collection of Thaulow prints, or browse other Norwegian or Impressionism artists.

The quality of a Giclée fine art print may be generally reckoned from the weight, and therefore, thickness, of the printing paper that is used. That is, the heavier, weightier the printing paper that is used, the better the likely quality. Weight of paper is measured in 'Grams per Square Metre' or 'gsm' for short. So, without further ado...
