Antoine Auguste Ernest Hebert
1817 - 1908
Antoine Auguste Ernest Hebert (1817-1908) was a French sculptor and painter best known for his Romantic-style works. He was a major figure in the French art world during the 19th century, and his works are still highly sought after today. He was a master of capturing the human form, and his sculptures often featured classical elements such as drapery and drapery folds. He was also a prolific painter, and his paintings often depicted dramatic scenes from history or mythology. Hebert's works have been widely exhibited and are highly collectible.
We have 22 artworks in our catalogue by Hebert available for order. Browse our full collection of Hebert prints, or browse other French artists.
