His works, which often depict religious scenes, are noted for their meticulous attention to detail and subtle use of light and colour. Campin's style has been highly influential and is seen in the works of his contemporaries, including Jan van Eyck, Rogier van der Weyden, and Petrus Christus. His works are now highly sought after and can be found in many fine art print collections.
