George Wesley Bellows
1882 - 1925
George Wesley Bellows (1882-1925) was an American painter and lithographer best known for his expressive depictions of urban life in New York City. He was a member of the Ashcan School, a group of realist painters who depicted everyday life in the city. His works often focused on the lively atmosphere of the city, with its hustle and bustle, its people, and its architecture. His works are highly sought after today, and his prints are popular among art collectors.
We have 19 artworks in our catalogue by Bellows available for order. Browse our full collection of Bellows prints, or browse other American artists.
